UKIP fails to deliver
Why do certain sections of the British media still try to insult the intelligence of the British media when it comes to UKIP? Apparently, UKIP is now the UK's third party. Oh really?
An average of 3.3 % of the vote in the last twelve by-elections.
NO MPs in Westminster. Olly Neville pointed this out - along with his support for gay marriage - and got the push.
NO members in the Welsh Assembly.
NO members in the Scottish Parliament.
NO members in the London Assembly.
NO elected mayors or police chiefs.
No members in the Northern Irish Assembly.
Directly elected councillors don't even run into three figures.
More non-members than current members.
A minuscule youth wing.
Lead by an MEP based in Brussels.
The only party to be reliant on the EU for financial survival.
UKIP as the UK's third party? Don't make us laugh! No wonder David Cameron rejected Farage's demand for a place in the cabinet in exchange for UKIP supporting the Tories! Nigel was hoping to keep that one quiet! Sorry Nigel, but certain Tories couldn't resist telling us!
See Richard North's excellent blog for his incisive comments regarding Farage and UKIP: LINK
